We are pleased to announce MBS 5.0, our new enhanced platform featuring modular customer care, billing, trouble, plant, provisioning and task management system for telecommunication service providers. MBS 5.0 features several enhancements including mobile version functionality, calendaring capability, job communications and dispatch functionality as well as a client-defined customer search and menu options, along with new quick pay features.

“With MBS 5.0, we have greatly enhanced the workflow and scheduling capabilities and the remote ‘in the field’ accessibility of the system, which will help our clients improve their operational efficiencies,” says Mike Chalk, CDG vice president of product development. “The new interactive scheduling calendar, for example, dramatically transforms the way clients can interact with jobs individually and view jobs on a larger scale within a region, department, or the company as a whole.”

We are most proud of our client’s involvement in enhancing the MBS platform. Much of the new functionality in this next generation of MBS comes from the feedback of CDG clients.

“At CDG, we focus on engaging in dialogues with our clients to go beyond just the ‘how-to’ and get to the ‘what’s next’,” said Bob Labonte, CDG president and CEO.

This next generation of MBS tracks nicely with other enhancements we’ve been introducing to our overall product set, including partnering with third party value-add providers. For example, our integrations with Roadside Systems for vehicle tracking and BKD Technologies for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central suite only enhances our customer’s ability to fully leverage their B/OSS platform for successful business growth and execution.
